About JL Drywall

It all started when…

JL Drywall was started in February of 2018 by Eduardo Campos and Juan Luis Quintero, as a way to provide great quality of work in a time when quantity was regarded more than quality. We saw how the bigger companies sacrificed on their workmanship in order to get volume, and it did not sit well with us seeing customers having to struggle with the aftermath. JL Drywall was started to change that and to provide not only a quality that we are proud of, but to provide a customer service experience that puts the client first.

Eduardo’s background is in mechanical engineering, having studied at the University of Houston, and graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2014. His experience with mechanical design and computer drafting have allowed him to easily transition into the world of construction. He uses this knowledge to read architect plans and provide accurate estimates. His problem solving skills allow him to take on any challenge and provide an effective solution. The world of engineering has taught him professionalism, organization, project management, and client relationship, which he brings to JL Drywall.

Juan Luis has been in the sheetrock industry for over 15 years. He has been heavily involved in every step of the sheetrock process. He is skilled in the installation, tape and float, and texture. From his experience, he has developed a keen eye for quality and inspects every job meticulously before it is approved. He can spot any defects in the work and can quickly come up with a solution on how to fix it. He brings both commercial and residential expertise but above all, he has pride in his work.
