What services do you provide?

We do sheetrock installation, tape and float, sanding and texture, for both residential and commercial work. We can also install green board as well as cement board around showers and wet areas.

DO you charge for an estimate?

There is no charge for estimates. We provide a free on-site estimate and discuss with you all work and charges that will be done before work is started. We can also provide estimates using PDF floor plans at no charge as well.

What types of payments do you accept?

We currently only accept checks or direct deposit through our invoice system. When you receive an invoice from us, it will contain a link which will allow you to do a payment through your bank. At this time we do not accept credit cards.
 

What type of texture does JL Drywall Provide?

We do the standard spray textures, Monterrey Drag/Knockdown or Orange Peel. We can also do custom texture or match an existing texture, for an additional fee.
  

What is orange peel texture?

Orange peel texture is one of the two main types of accoustical texture that is used in most homes today. As the name states, this texture is similar to that of an orange peel. It is a successor to the infamous popcorn texture, and although not as popular as the knockdown/monterrey drag texture, it is still used in many homes. We can provide a sample if you are unsure how this texture will look.
 

What is monterrey drag/knockdown texture?

Monterrey Drag, also known as knockdown, is one of the two most common types of accoustical texture used in homes today. This type of texture is sprayed and then “knocked down” with a specialty knife to create the pattern and shape of the texture. We can provide samples if you are unsure how it will look.
